Real Estate Deals in the Moshavim

Most real estate transactions in the area’s moshavim are done through realtors, since professional information simplifies and expedites the process.

One such professional is Nehama Oron, a senior realtor at Anglo-Saxon Herzliya Pituah for the last 16 years. She’s a veteran resident of Moshav Rishpon who specializes in prestigious properties in Herzliya Pituah, Kfar Shmaryahu and the Sharon moshavim.

“The involvement of a professional realtor is important for both parties to the transaction,” Nehama says. “Everyone wants accurate, professional information on such matters as building rights, purchasing terms, acceptance committees and conditions, and so on. Close personal assistance from an expert who is thoroughly familiar with all these issues helps people make decisions and understand the details of the deal. It also speeds up the procedures and can save buyers a great deal of money.”

Nehama, who this past year was once again the top seller in the Anglo-Saxon network, sums up the volatile market: “In Kfar Shmaryahu we’re mainly seeing demand for land and houses to rent. There are Israelis returning from overseas who want to rent while they look for a plot of land to build their dream house, which is why there’s demand for building lots. There are others who prefer to avoid the long and exhausting process of building on their own and want to buy a finished house.

“On the other hand, in Herzliya Pituah there are a large number of houses on half a dunam for sale. Most of the sellers are wealthy and so we aren’t feeling any significant price drops, though there were situations where the sellers compromised and this helped to close the deal,” she says.

“At present there is a demand for good plots for sale in Herzliya Pituah, of both half a dunam and one dunam. We also have beautiful properties on offer in the moshavim of Rishpon, Bnei Zion, Batzra and Udim. These are large farms, home farms and homes in moshavim that are expanding.”
